Location: Essex

Remuneration: £27,000 + bonus, OTE circa £40,000

Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Account Executive – Plastic Plumbing Products will involve:

• Office based account executive position selling a distributed range of plastic plumbing building products such as: fitting, valves, waste, drainage and accessories
• Selling to and dealing with plumbers and builders merchants such as Buildbase and Plumbase, groundsworkers, contractors, housing developers, aquatic stores, architects, civil engineers and trade such as builders
• Responsible for contacting current clients/customers to gain an understanding of their needs and wants, encouraging repeat business
• Managing and looking after clients by assisting with stock needs, informing them of new product lines and handling all their orders efficiently
• Researching new products required by customers and liaising with purchasing department
• Nurturing and maintaining strong customer and business relations
• Calling on dormant customers to reignite the relationship and encourage new sales
• Updating all relevant customer information on the CRM system
• Full product training will be given

The ideal applicant will be an Account Executive – Plastic Plumbing Products with:

• Must have sales experience, ideally within the construction industry
• Ideally possess a solid knowledge of the plumbing industry, however not essential
• Strong relationship building and account management skills
• Pro-active, driven and motivated to grow with the company as there is room for progression
• Happy to carry out research to increase knowledge capabilities
• Personable, friendly and confident talking on the phone
• Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Computer and LinkedIn literate
