Area to be covered: Large Midlands

Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 + up to £10,000 Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid or Electric Car or allowance of £500 per month + full benefits packageThe role of the Formwork Construction Hire Area Sales Manager will involve:

• Field sales position, selling predominantly the hire of formwork and falsework equipment
• Majority of your time reactively dealing with established relationships within formwork and falsework sub contractors
• Remainder of time proactively stimulating demand for equipment through end users and main contractors
• New business role targeting a relatively new territory
• Revenue target circa £1.8m
• Working collaboratively with field sales team nationally to leverage leads as well as following up with contacts from our clients’ database
• Large proportion of time will be spent on construction sites
• Project can be multi million pound
• Utilising a team of qualified engineers for technical support

The ideal applicant will be a Formwork Construction Hire Area Sales Manager with:

• Construction hire industry field sales experience
• Formwork, falsework and temporary works knowledge not essential but preferred
• Open to associated systems such as climbing systems, shoring, pilling, edge protection, concrete monitoring and mixing, plywood, scaffolding etc.
• Construction site experience, open to “on the tools” technical experience looking for field sales role
• Strong new business skills
• Energetic, drive, passion and enthusiastic
• Mix of construction and engineering background preferred
• Civil Engineering qualification preferred but not essential
