Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Window and Door Profiles

Industry Sector: Aluminium Windows, Aluminium Doors, Conservatories, Patio Doors, Bi-Fold Doors, Window and Door Fabricators, uPVC, Plastic etc.

Area to be covered: Midlands

Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 + £35,000-£40,000 Commission Benefits: £500 Car allowance or Hybrid or Electric Company Car and benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Window and Door profiles to Fabricators will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of aluminium window and door profiles
• 30% of your time account managing approx. 40 window and door fabricators on patch
• 70% of your time new business development
• On-boarding/ recruiting 2 window and door fabricators per month
• Responsible for a ledge of circa £4m
• Managing accounts from £10,000-£100,000 per month
• Inheriting an area currently on budget and only available due to an internal promotion
• Daily and weekly report writing, call planning and diary management

• Liaise regularly with national sales manager and MD
• Efficiently manage time and plan work to ensure logical and cost-effective use of time

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Window and Door Profiles to Fabricators with:

• Must have sold window or door profiles
• Open to uPVC, composite or aluminium profiles
• Must have sold into window and door fabricators
• Must be a new business hunter
• Knowledge of extruded aluminium is not required
• A basic technical understanding of aluminium systems or related products may be advantageous

• Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills
• Comfortable with features & benefits sales
• Technical, literate, excellent interpersonal skills, eye for detail and ambitious personality
