Our client in BD4 is looking for an experienced Beam Saw Operator to join their growing team at their composites machining facility. The client is a market leader in electrical insulation solutions, proud of their innovation, quality and sustainability within their product and services.

Salary – £12.42 p/h

The role:

• Working in a clean modern manufacturing facility, your day to day duties will be to support the many functions within the machine shop
• Your job will involve cutting raw material on a CNC Beam Saw, Panel Saw or Guillotine
• Other light assembly duties will be required as and when

The ideal candidate:

• Must have experience of Setting and operating a Beamsaw – YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Have an understanding of working out yields from sheet material
• Woodworking or engineering experience is essential
• The candidate must be willing to work shifts after a qualifying period. 6am-2pm , 2pm-10.30pm , Shift systems , one week about. (6.30pm finish when on late Friday’s) but we do a normal shift when appropriate (7am-3pm)
• Ability to use Verniers , Micrometers would be an advantage, as would the ability to read basic engineering drawings
