Bodyshop Advisor – Enfield

Your role

As the Bodyshop Advisor you will provide a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for the Bodyshop and SMART repair department, reporting into the Bodyshop Manager, in Enfield and liaising closely with colleagues across the Centres. You will be responsible for selling Bodyshop time, products, and services, liaising with insurance companies and their engineers where appropriate.

The main duties of the role include:

• Provide a courteous, welcoming, and efficient reception service to Bodyshop and SMART Repair customers• To make customer bookings and plan customer arrival times to reduce waiting times for leaving and collecting their vehicles• To accurately invoice all completed retail jobs for SMART repairs• To maintain workload control spreadsheets to ensure vehicles are worked on in an efficient manner• To prepare the job packs and oversee the return of the vehicle to the customer confirming what work was undertaken, charges etc• Deal with incoming enquiries, admin and phone calls and make customer bookings• Upsell Bodyshop, SMART and wheel repair work to customers• Provide regular communication to customers keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work needed or vehicle completion regularly updating the databases

Your profile

• Excellent communication skills• Self-motivated and able to multitask in a busy environment• To have the ability to keep up to date with technical information, proven selling skills and good analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong with administration, diary management and following up within agreed timeframes• Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably• Have a passion for customer service, have a process orientated approach, be professional and well presented • Proven previous knowledge and experience of working in a similar role preferable in an accident repair centre/ Bodyshop environment• Valid, and clean manual UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary and Hours

Basic Salary £25,740 with an OTE £32,000 per annumWorking hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm
