Remuneration: £23,000 – £25,000 + bonus

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Technical Advisor/CAD Designer – Waterproofing Systems will involve:

• Technical Advisor/CAD Designer position dealing with a high quality range of roofing and cladding systems for the commercial market sector
• Liaising with subcontractors, main contractors, architects, structural engineers & end users
• Support the sales team to help secure projects
• Produce 2D & 3D drawings for Technical and Marketing purposes
• Write up technical project specification proposals, test reports, site visit reports, with supplementary calculations
• Create and develop technical designs for various waterproofing systems
• Provide technical advice to customers, clients and internal team members
• Office based role

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Advisor/CAD Designer – Waterproofing Systems with:

• Must have AutoCAD & 3D design experience, ideally within the construction industry
• Ideally from the waterproofing, roofing / cladding / single ply / felt / metal cladding / sheet cladding / facades backgrounds
• Ideally will have experience writing up specifications & technical reports
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Able to problem solve and offer solutions
• High levels of attention to detail
• Hungry, approachable and strong organisational skills
