Job Title- CAD Designer

Location- Hull (Brandesburton)

Salary- £28,000

Hours- Mon-Fri (Early finish Friday)

We are working with one of the UK’s leading modular building and offsite construction specialists.

Role:

• To produce enquiry drawings for the rental sales team, including but not limited to layouts, elevations and point load diagrams and site plans.
• To complete and update all drawing registers and upload along with drawings to the required project folders saved on SharePoint/IFS To liaise with sub-contractors to chase/file quotations.

Experience, Qualifications & Training:

• AutoCAD experience required.
• Good communication skills.
• Possess Good IT Skills
• Good Planning Skills
• Modular build knowledge is beneficial
• Team player but also able to work on own initiative

Principle accountabilities:

• To prepare enquiry drawings for hire sales team by using AutoCAD 2D to produce accurate, high quality plan drawing / elevations etc, where possible providing these solutions utilizing either buildings or units from our existing rental fleet to meet the clients requirements.
• Prepare production drawing and design information for issuAttend Factory Project Launch Meetings when necessary.
• Assist in standardisation of existing hire fleet drawing information.
• Prepare site plans / logistics layouts etc which may include crane / delivery vehicles etc to assist site operations teams.
• To liaise with internal staff as appropriate on queries relating to drawings / production details etc.
• Prepare As-Built drawing layouts.
• Liaise with external sub-contractors on designs.
• To prepare drawings and technical information for hire sales managers, production drawings for issue to the factory and site details for our operations teams (site installation) by using AutoCAD to produce accurate, high quality plan drawing / elevations / specifications etc, where possible providing these solutions utilizing either buildings or units from our existing rental fleet to meet the client’s requirements.
• To liaise with clients (either by telephone /team’s meetings & site visits etc) and other internal staff as appropriate on queries relating to drawings / production details etc.
• Liaise with external sub-contractors on designs and provide technical assistance where required to resolve any potential conflicts to ensure that their works are compatible with our buildings.
