You’ll be handling a portfolio of complex Construction PI claims for Building Contractors throughout the UK, many of whom are involved with some of the highest profile building and infrastructure projects across the country. As well as ensuring the satisfactory resolution of claims, other duties will include, but not be limited to, identifying appropriate policy coverage on complex issues, providing claims strategy advice to clients, and conducting effective claim review meetings. You’ll be interacting with insurers and their professional advisors on complex losses, as well as analysing loss statistics, key trends and cost reduction opportunities in order to minimise the client’s total cost of risk.

The Director tells us that most of the client interaction tends to be conducted via video calls, however, you will need to be prepared to see some clients, face to face, in line with their individual requirements.

Our client is very flexible on experience and will consider applications from specialist Professional Indemnity Claims Executives, Claims Handlers Loss Adjusters or Solicitors / Lawyers. Equally, they are happy to consider Claims Handlers (with Property, Liability / Casualty claims handling experience), who would like to move into this fascinating niche, where they will benefit a world-leading training and development programme. Location is also flexible as our client offers a hybrid-working arrangement. You’ll need to work at a local office (of which there are many all over the UK) a couple of times a week, and this will include visiting the London office once or twice a month. You’ll enjoy working in a team of highly accomplished specialists, including some of the top former Lawyers and Loss Adjusters in the Construction market.
