They go on to tell us, “No day is the same here; our Handlers are constantly learning and being technically-challenged, and complex losses can be as high as 7 figures in value, such as an apartment block that needs completely rebuilding.”As a Claims Handler working under delegated authority, you will deal with your own caseload of LDI losses relating to New Build structural warranties, liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in order to bring claims to a satisfactory conclusion.This is a varied and challenging role where duties will include, but certainly not be limited to, completing initial claim reviews within agreed timeframes, making appropriate decisions on claim validity, effectively managing reserves throughout the claim lifecycle, and liaising with legal advisors to pursue recoveries.Our client is open to Claims Handlers from a wide range of insurance product disciples (Household / Motor / Personal Injury / Construction / Travel etc) as comprehensive, technical training will be provided. Most importantly, you will display a proactive approach to managing claims, and effective stakeholder and relationship-management skills. Just as importantly, you’ll be competent with the major Microsoft IT packages, and you’ll have the ability to multi-task, whilst working to strict timeframes.You’ll enjoy working within a very friendly and relaxed office environment, where your managers will be committed to ensuring your success from day one.
