Our client, an NHS Trust in Surrey, is currently seeking a Clerk of Works to support a large, exciting project on a temporary basis. Below is a brief synopsis of the role;

Location: Surrey

Duration: 6 months initially

Hourly Rate: £23.57 PAYE – £26.94 Umbrella

You will be responsible for:

• Carry out extensive inspections of recent completed works
• Identify issues and required repairs to meet quality standards and put forwards improvement suggestions, alongside detailed reports
• Report findings to management to ensure remedial works are carried out in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with plans and liaise with contractors to ensure works are being completed correctly
• Provide liaison to stakeholders and clinicians affected
• Ensure regulations, H & S standards and procedures are followed

The successful applicant will have:

• Experience of working within live environments
• A strong background in construction works
• Ideally worked in a healthcare or public sector setting
