With a client base that includes 70% of the top UK Contractors, this is undoubtedly one of the leading Construction Insurance teams in the insurance market.The specialist Construction Claims Practice of this top global insurance broker now has an exciting opening for a Construction Claims Executive.Overseeing a portfolio of predominantly top tier (£100M + turnover) accounts, you will handle the claim requirements of Building Contractors throughout the UK. These clients are involved with some of the highest profile building and infrastructure projects across the country, and as such, you will have exposure to some fascinating risks. Most of these clients will outsource their smaller claims to a Third Party Administrator (TPA), and as such, your role will be to oversee the larger claims, which will mainly be Contract Works and some Employers’ / 3rd Party Liability losses. With support from dedicated Claims Handlers, you will act as the Project Manager to help bring claims to a satisfactory conclusion. In addition, as a key ambassador for the company, you will oversee the client relationships from a claims point of view, providing ongoing, consultative advice. This will include duties such as holding regular claims review meetings, conducting presentations to clients on what to do in the event of a loss, presenting useful case studies to the insured, collating and presenting vital claims MI, and analysing trends in order to mitigate future losses. As such, you’ll enjoy a varied, hybrid role, which is loosely 50% claims handling and 50% account management.The Director tells us that circa 70% of client interaction tends to be conducted via video calls, however, you will need to be prepared to see some clients, face to face, in line with their individual requirements. Our client is flexible on experience and will consider applications from specialist Construction Claims Executives, Construction Claims Handlers who are ready to take the nest step into an Executive role, and general Claims Execs’ who have had some reasonable exposure to Construction / Liability claims. Equally, we are happy to consider applications from Loss Adjusters and Risk Managers, as well as Inhouse Insurance specialists currently working for Construction firms.We are also flexible on your location, but you must be happy to commute to either the London, Manchester or Birmingham office 2 / 3 times a week on average, where you’ll benefit from newly-refurbished, state of the art facilities.You’ll enjoy working in a team of highly accomplished specialists, including some of the top former Lawyers and Loss Adjusters in the Construction market.
