Reed Further Education are proud to be appointed as the Managed Service Provider for the South Thames College Group and REED are supplying all staffing for across the whole college group. The South Thames Colleges Group is made up of Kingston College, South Thames College, Carshalton College and Merton College, which merged in 2017.

South Thames Group are seeking an experienced Construction Technician to support them on a temporary basis with an immediate start date

Location: CarshaltonHours: 30 – 40 hours Salary: £12-15 per hour

Duration: Temporary Ongoing (Term time only)

The Role:• To Assist the lecturer in delievering levels 1-2 in Carpentry and be familar with the NOCN awarding bodies and programmes.• Good Knowledge of tools and equiptment• To assist setting up the workshop and ordering of stock• You will be working with students aged 16+• Understanding of Health and Safety procedures in order to keep the working environment safe.

What the successful Construction Technician will need:• Good understanding of the trade and equipment • A relevant qualifications to level 3 and above• Relevant experience teaching in a post 16 education setting.
