Design Engineer Telford Permanent Circa £38,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week Prince are recruiting on behalf of a very well-established client of ours who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join a passionate team of engineers. You will have the opportunity to see your design from initial concept through to manufacturing. This is very much a project management design engineering role, within a very supportive team and a company that encourages growth and development. The Design Engineer will be responsible for: Initial concept, design, development and management of projects for a range of products Providing technical support to internal and external customers Organising and managing projects Dealing with project enquiries and quote generation Entering orders onto the system and producing works orders Working with engineering team to agree on realistic time frames and evaluating cost and risk Work alongside purchasing department to order correct materials Obtaining relevant certification to show compliance Skills and Experience Previous experience Must have previous experience with structural design and design of vessel style products Strong knowledge and experience in Sheet Metal construction and excellent knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing methods Understanding of fluid and power dynamics Good knowledge and experience in Autodesk Inventor and/ or SolidWorks The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we’re able to progress with your application within 72 working hours.
