Job Description:In this varied role as an electrician you will be capable of carrying out your role in an autonomous and competent manner and within an allotted time. Duties will include the installation, commissioning and maintenance of low voltage electrical and electronic systems including wiring of power & lighting circuits, fire alarms, boiler systems, and associated testing of these installations. This will also include the on-site managing of small to medium sized jobs, including material selection and ordering as well as man management.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for and advising on all technical and general issues associated with each job you are assigned, including suitability of design and location of fittings and fixtures, receiving and checking of materials, and recording of delivery documents.

• You will be responsible for reporting any changes that are made to jobs from original estimates and the recording of these extras.
• Monitor and report on any O.H. & S issues on your site regarding safe working and protection of others from injury due to the work conducted.

• You will also be responsible for the general up keep of your works van and any company equipment issued to you, ensuring it is fully maintained and secured against theft or use by others on or off site.
