IWM Duxford has agreed a public offer and visitor experience driven, costed and sustainable Master Plan. This role is a key function within the masterplan team to facilitate transformation projects, that combined will enable IWM Duxford to reach its potential as a nationally and internationally significant museum.

Based within the Exhibitions Department, the Production Manager will work closely with the Head of Masterplan to provide production management for a range of different projects within the masterplan programme. You will work closely with a team of project and exhibition managers to ensure the smooth integration of masterplan projects across the wider programme or works.

You will oversee the construction planning and install phase of new displays; gallery refreshes and other display projects, taking responsibility for the project management of the construction and install phases of the project to ensure that it opens on time, within budget and to the highest possible standard.

You will coordinate and manage exhibition contractors and internal teams providing quality assurance for build and install elements across the Masterplan and IWM programme. You will be a critical member of the Exhibitions team in ensuring that the maintenance and gallery improvement programme is delivered to the highest standard.

This role is a fixed term appointment. While primarily based at IWM Duxford, some travel to other IWM branches may be required as necessary.
