Working Foreman

£37,000 per annum

Full time – Permanent – 40hrs per week – Monday to Friday – 8am – 16.30pm – Field based

Including Company vehicle and fuel card

What the role Involves

You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard electrical works and supervisory duties associated with repairs and refurbishment works in commercial properties, ensuring all work and procedures are being undertaken efficiently, in compliance with Company operating procedures and delivering best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

• The primary role will be working as an Electrician
• The other part of the role will be carrying out jobs, completing inspections, getting involved in projects
• Responsible for assisting the property electrical supervisor carry out his duties including the supervision of operatives, subcontractors and suppliers
• Supervise and monitor work delivery, progression & completion via ongoing site visits
• Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders
• Ensure an efficient and productive service is delivered to service users and client to support the attainment and maintenance of high levels of satisfaction

Role Criteria

• NVQ level 3 Electrical Installations is essential
• SSSTS is essential
• Inspection and Testing 2391/2 is ideal but not essential
• Previous supervisory experience
• Managing, monitoring, recording and reporting of Health & Safety and compliance.
• Health & Safety knowledge, including COSHH.
• Excellent communication
• People management with the ability to lead & mentor others
• Ability to negotiate and influence others
• Strong customer focus
• IT literate
• Full UK driving license
