Health & Safety Assessor (SSIP)

£30,000 + 22 days holiday + pension

On offer is an assessor’s role where you will be dealing with customers by telephone and email. You will undertake assessments of companies’ management systems to ensure they meet the requirement of the SSIP Core criteria.

There’s the scope to be the Team lead for the division, ensuring assessments are allocated to team personal, in relation to their ability, current assessment workload and current number of referred assessments. You will ensure specific product service level agreements are maintained and ensure that capacity/team capability issues are brought to the attention of the Technical Services Director in a steadfast manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring assessments are serviced based on membership priority
• Liaising with the Technical Services Director on any issues arising.
• Liaising with other department managers on queries
• Input into the development of the new product opportunities.
• Provide assistance into the development of internal processes

The person

• Health & Safety experience preferably Construction
• NEBOSH General Certificate
