A position based on a 37 hour basic week has arisen at a well-established engineering company in Huddersfield which service the market in heavy duty hydraulic cylinders.If you want a role working in a motivating, relaxed working environment, look no further!Key duties of the Manual Turner will include:– Setting up various jobs for a manual centre lathe- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.- Communicating with supervision on any issues.- Inspecting manufactured products to ensure quality.- Adhering to safe working practices at all times.- Performing all necessary safety checks to ensure integrity and effectiveness of the department.- To attend and complete any training courses if required.- Working with volume, and batches.- Working to tight limits in a high precision environment.- Workshop Housekeeping.You will be working within the repairs shop and ideally have the experience and ability to hit the ground running in this role, producing high precision components.
