My client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to take a hands-on approach in supporting the growth of their business. If you are a focussed, adaptable and productivity-driven individual, then this position is for you!

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day rotating equipment repairs.
• In addition to workshop-based work, the role will include site work at client locations.
• Monitor and control productivity.
• Ensure the adoption of workshop best practices and that spares are correctly sourced for individual jobs.
• Responsible for the efficient control and progress of individual jobs.
• Take direct hands-on involvement in major repairs and contracts.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of individual jobs.
• Ensure the compliance to quality standards and systems.
• Ensure safe working practices to Health, Safety and the environmental legislation.
• Ensure the security of all plant and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experienced in a workshop/engineering department environment, working with different types of industrial pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
• An understanding of EMS and commercial contracts.
