Based: Oxfordshire Remuneration: £25,000 – £30,000neg

The role of the Sales Estimator – Windows & Aluminium Glazing will involve:

• Sales Estimator position promoting a high end range of windows, doors, sliding doors, bifold doors and architectural glazing
• Working alongside the technical sales team to support with client quotations
• Primary objectives would be interpreting technical drawings and generating/following up on quotations
• Responding to sales enquiries by producing accurate cost estimates of materials and labour required to fully execute project bid proposals
• Preparation and issuing of formal quotations to customers
• Taking details regarding size & quantities from drawings to produce BOQs (bill of quantities) to allow timely return of quotations to customers’ deadlines
• Liaising with suppliers ordering deliveries and confirming prices
• Will be working on projects in the residential market sector with project values ranging from £2,000 to £500,000

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Estimator – Windows & Aluminium Glazing with:

• Must have sales / estimating experience in the construction industry
• Ideally will have experience within the architectural glazing, glazing, fenestration, windows & doors market sectors, however this isn’t essential
• Ideally will have experience dealing with fenestration software packages such as: ISS, Window Designer, First Degree Systems & OSS
• Ability to read CAD drawings is advantageous
• Ability to manage all elements of estimating and quoting to ensure customer satisfaction
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Self-driven, results orientated with ability to multi task
• Robust, positive outlook and team player
