Remuneration: £45,000 – £50,000

Benefits: Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Senior Estimator – Architectural Glazing Systems will involve:

• Senior estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of architectural glazing systems such as: aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, glazing, and rainscreen cladding
• Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
• Utilise specialist estimating software (Schueco & Logikal) to determine material costs
• Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
• Liaise and build relationships with main contractor through the project and beyond
• Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
• Working as part of an estimating team of 5 supporting others where required
• Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator – Architectural Glazing Systems experience with:

• Must have experience working in an estimating position
• Must have good technical knowledge of the façade industry (curtain walling, windows and doors, glazing, and rainscreens)
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Must be IT literate, ideally familiar with estimating software like Schueco and Logikal
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
