Location: South East / South Coast

Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + discretionary bonus

Benefits: Company vehicle & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Senior Estimator – Roofing will involve:

• Senior Estimator position promoting a high quality range of various industrial and commercial roofing contract services; maintenance, flat roofing, pitched roofing, refurbishment, asbestos removal etc
• Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
• Price up from drawings, measurements and BOQs
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact clients dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients as and when required
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £25k to £2.5m

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator – Roofing with:

• Must have Estimator experience in the roofing market sector
• Ideally will have estimating experience in both pitched and flat roofing
• Ideally will have experience in liquid applied, hot melt, flat and pitched roofing, roof tiles, roofing conversions, felt roofing, single ply, rooflight refurbishments
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Confident and articulate
