Location: West Yorkshire

Remuneration: £26,000 – £30,000 + bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Showroom Sales Assistant – Timber Doors & Flooring will involve:

• Showroom Sales Assistant position selling a range of timber doors, flooring and stair parts
• Selling to trade and retail customers
• Generating sales by dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
• You’ll be the customers first point of contact within the showroom, providing excellent customer service and a responsive attitude to all their enquiries
• Providing support for the showroom manager and responsible for running the showroom in their absence
• Processing orders and purchasing stock
• Prepare quotations and follow up on them
• Maintaining high presentation standards within the showroom
• Building strong customer relations to encourage repeat sales
• Updating internal database with accurate customer and stock information
• Will be required to work two Saturdays a month, between 8am-12pm

The ideal applicant will be a Showroom Sales Assistant – Timber Doors & Flooring with:

• Must have sales experience, preferably within the industry
• Highly advantageous if possess sales experience within a timber OR builders merchant, such as Howdens or Myers
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• People’s person with a strong relationship building ability
• Must be well presented and a hardworking, team player
• Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
• Ambitious, looking for progression and wants to make a career for themselves
• Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
