Role
Callan Connect are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join Callans busy team who act on behalf of Callan Connect to drive quality, compliance, health and safety on all of our contracts within our well established business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carry out advanced walk offs for future works and marking up routes on the highway.
• Ensure all teams under supervision are clear on their daily tasks.
• Maintain a good relationship with clients and customers alike.
• Minimise disputes.
• Prevent defects by driving the quality framework across all jobs.
• To measure works and communicate these accurately to the office staff for recording and planning.
• Ensure all work is carried out to Company Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards and to regularly communicate with sub-contractors, staff and operatives on these matters.
• Carry out Safety Audits
• Ensure compliance with company administrative procedures.
• Assure compliance with the Company’s Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Third party stakeholder management – Highways Agency

Essential requirements

• Supervising abilities to handle skilled and semi-skilled workers.
• Full Driving Licence
• Excellent communicator
• Reliable, conscientious, and co-operative
• Ability to lead a team, work on own initiative
• Streetworks Card – Supervisor
• SMSTS – site management safety training scheme – desirable

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
