Our client has been a market leader within the Design & Build contractors, developers and investors in multi-sector, mixed use schemes for over 50 years providing professional services. Due to growth within the business, they are now looking for a Site Manager to join their team for the long term future.The Site Manager duties will include:

• Work closely with the Project Manager to plan the project.
• Set up an emergency plan and general site facilities for the project.
• Establish and maintain the storage facilities for materials, plant and tools and manage stock.
• Establish Site security.
• Produce a labour schedule in conjunction with the project manager to ensure sub-contractor packages are placed in time to meet the programme.
• Ensure the provision of first aid facilities and identify a first aid area.
• Manage all site based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work including the carrying out of safety inductions.
• Ensure all works carried out are to the required standard for brickwork, plastering, carpentry etc.
• Day-to-day management of the site and works planning.

The Site Manager must have the following:

• Degree / HND in construction management or other relevant discipline
• Valid CSR / CSCS Card (Management level)
• Previous experience 2 years or more working on project value above 5m.
• knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
• It literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCad
• Good communication, analytic decision making skills.
