Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Architectural Glass Facades

Industry Sector: Architectural Glass, Architects, Specification Sales, Façade Fabricators, Main ContractorsArea to be covered: North – ideally based Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham etc.Remuneration: £50,000 + 10% Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid Car & Full BenefitsThe role of the Specification Sales Manager – Architectural Glass Facades will involve:

• Field sales role, selling a manufactured range of architectural glass (60% solar control glass)
• 40% of your time winning specifications with architects
• One CPD presentation per month
• Remaining 60% of your time managing relationships with façade fabricators and main contractors
• Projects typically 6-18 months
• Utilising website enquiries and Barber ABI leads
• Targeting commercial buildings and high rise residential
• 75% new business development/ 25% account management
• Typically 2-3 customer visits per day at least two days per week

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Architectural Glass Facades with:

• Architect specification field sales experience
• Must have sold vertical wall products such as; aluminium, facades, curtain walling, cladding etc.
• Ideally 3 years+ façade industry experience
• May be open to a uPVC glazing field sales background
• Ideally knowledge of glass for commercial buildings
• Already covering this region, ideally with contacts in architects
• A mouldable, personable and approachable character
• Excellent new business development capability
